President Obama’s olive branch meeting with Republicans began (big surprise) with a speech. In this speech, he talked about how bipartisan he has been this past year. I didn’t really hear any examples. But I did hear Pelosi and Reid take the floor next, and they too, used the phrase bipartisan, more times than one can count. They also reminded us about how they have been working for “the American people.”

The speeches went something like this: “Blah, blah, blah…bipartisanship…Blah, blah, blah…the American people…Blah blah blah…bipartisanship…Blah, blah, blah…the American people…Blah, blah, blah…….bipartisanship…”

Our tax dollars, hard at work to showcase this meeting from people who want to tax us even more.
