On Wednesday, July 28th<\/sup>, President Obama made an appearance on that prestigious, journalistic program, ABC\u2019s The View.<\/em><\/p>\n

The most interesting question came from Joy Behar:<\/p>\n

\u201cBut can I follow up on something? Because you\u2019ve really done a lot, I think. I mean, you\u2019ve signed 200 + laws into being since you\u2019re in office. You have \u2013 financial reform has taken place\u2026you\u2019ve got a health care\u2026you put two women on the Supreme Court. I could go on and on about your accomplishments, and yet the right wing, through FOX NEWS and other outlets, they seem to be hijacking the narrative. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Where, are on your side, is the narrative? Where is your attack dog to come out and tell the American People, \u2018Listen, this is what we did\u2019?\u201d<\/p>\n

So\u2026Conservatives are writing the narrative?\u00a0 I guess Joy must have forgotten about ABC, CBS, MSNBC, CNN, PBS, NPR, The New York Times,<\/em> The Washington Post, The<\/em> Boston Globe<\/em>, The Los Angeles Times, Newsweek,<\/em> the secular universities, the teacher\u2019s unions, The American Medical Association, The American Psychiatric Association, and that humble little town called, \u201cHollywood.\u201d<\/p>\n

Make no mistake: The problem is not that liberals don\u2019t have a narrative. The problem is that they believe they should be the only narrative.<\/em><\/strong> That\u2019s why they support ideas like the Fairness Doctrine. Joy, we realize you don\u2019t like Fox News, but don\u2019t re-write history to make your point. The truth is, thanks to Fox News, Talk Radio, and the internet, people are <\/em>hearing both sides, something they were not able obtain from the media for many years. Oh, and Joy, that\u2019s why Obama\u2019s approval ratings are so abysmal. People are hearing both sides.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
