Is America a Christian Nation?

Co-host Jim Berrier joins Bob for a discussion about God’s relationship with America. After establishing that America, unlike Israel, is not in a special covenant relationship with God, America’s Christian roots are nevertheless discussed.

Both Jim and Bob clarify that America being a Christian nation DOES NOT MEAN that the United States is a theocracy, but rather, a country whose Constitution is based upon Biblical principles. This guarantees a freedom of religion where Christianity can flourish without imposing on the freedoms of other religions or the non-religious.

Jim reads quotations from many of our forefathers and early founders showing how much they revered God. Among others, we hear from George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Ben Franklin, Patrick Henry, John Hancock, and John Quincy Adams.

Other Topics:

-The hypocritical manner in which the “squad” of four  freshmen congresswomen is defended despite a blatant racism and anti-Semitism from some of them

-Politicizing the 50th anniversary of America’s landing on the moon

Early in the program, it is pointed out that God is not done with Israel. She has not been replaced, either by America or the church, despite popular false teachings such as “Replacement Theology.” For detailed information on this subject, see Bob’s latest book:
