Bob examines a popular but confusing doctrine; the “Baptism of the Holy Spirit,” described by charismatic Christians as a second blessing with the Spirit of God, not the same as the initial receiving of the Holy Spirit when one chooses to accept Jesus into his/her heart, but rather a subsequent experience in which one is being empowered and filled with the Spirit.
While the term “Baptism of the Holy Spirit” is Biblical, Bob correctly defines it, showing that this is not in fact the second of a two-step process, but is instead another name for “receiving the Holy Spirit.”
