Is the Bible Clear Or Does It Need Special Interpretation?

Bob discusses the very common misconception that the Bible is a mysterious book with hidden meaning which needs some prophet or special clergy to explain it to the rest of us or a special prayer that we would be “enlightened” while we read.

Related, is the flippant notion that the Bible can be interpreted “many different ways” which is just fancy rhetoric for people ignoring the passages they don’t like, passages which challenge their lifestyles or preferred beliefs.

Other Topics:

Religion:

-Should we automatically dismiss a person who claims to have heard from God, or is it possible that God, on occasion, may truly speak?

-The Protestant Reformation (related to subject of Bible interpretation)

-Mormonism (related to subject of Bible interpretation)

-The claims of Rep. Maxine Waters that God is leading her to get President Trump out of Washington (related to subject of Bible interpretation)

Current Events:

-Bob responds to those who claim that President Trump’s Tweets about the Mueller investigation are “obstructing justice.”

-The deep state that President Obama left behind

-Made up election fraud and GENUINE election fraud

-Bob responds to a comment from one of his listeners that Hillary won the popular vote. Bob points out that a true popular vote was never taken, that had people known our president would be elected due to a popular vote, rather than an electoral college, the votes might have been much different.
