NOTE FROM BOB SIEGEL: Sometimes over the air, through a slip of the tongue, I accidentally say the exact opposite of what I intended, generally with one word or phrase. I am usually unaware of this error until later on while listening to a recording of the broadcast. While the context of this program makes it obvious what I honestly meant, with sensitive subjects I still wish to be careful. And so, let me clarify: In the fourth segment of our program, while talking about matters some pastors are compromising, my intention was to say that standing up for TRADITIONAL marriage is unpopular today. What I accidentally said was that standing up for “same-sex” marriage is unpopular. Of course, in point of fact, that liberal, politically correct position is growing in popularity and it does not take much courage to hold such a currently affirmed view. Again, I believe my intended statement was obvious but I added this note to be doubly cautious.
