Co-host Mike Fredenburg joins Bob in the wake of the horrible shooting and murder of 26 people in a small Texas church.
Because of the limited information at the time of this broadcast (literally just hours after the breaking news) Bob and Mike spend only a little time on the Texas shooting. However, since the New York terror attack had only been a few days ago, that was discussed in more detail.
In the course of this discussion, the following questions were explored:
-Is it fair to say that Islamic Jihadists are getting their cues from the Koran?
-Critiquing Islam is NOT racist! Islam is a religion and ideology; not a race!
-Should our concerns be in the area of gun control legislation inasmuch as the New York terrorist did not use a gun and the Texas killer was stopped by a Good Samaritan citizen with a gun?
-Does there really need to be a debate about concern for foreign terrorists vs. domestic? Can’t we just speak out against evil wherever we fine it? Does this need to be either/or? Can it not be both/and?
Other Topics:
-Saudi Arabia claims it is going to relax some of its strict Sharia policies.
-The need for Republicans to speak up and demand that Mueller (because of his compromised conflicts of interest) step down from the “Russian collusion investigation.”
-The tactics of special prosecutors who can catch people in lies about the timelines, etc. of their stories despite the fact that they may not have originally done anything illegal.
-The other tactics of threatening people with jail unless they confess something about a higher up (President Trump for instance) and the temptation of such a “squeezed” person to invent something, simply to avoid jail time.
-The Hillary uranium scandal and its relationship to the “deep state.”
-The despicable Democratic ad against Ed Gillespie in Virginia governor race
-Donna Brizile confesses that the Clinton campaign dishonestly stole the DNC nomination from Bernie Sanders.
-Are the Clintons like Teflon? Immune to incrimination from their many scandals?
