Bob begins by making it clear that he would never tell Christians who they must vote for. A voting record is not a reflection of somebody’s spirituality or salvation. Bob compliments many of the Christians he knows who did vote for Obama even though he disagrees with their vote. However, since many Evangelicals voted for Obama precisely because he claimed to be a Christian, Bob compares Obama’s positions and voting record with the teachings of the Bible.
Then, Bob reminds the audience of warnings and predictions he made back in 2008 before Obama was elected, when many younger Evangelicals were viewing his apparent “compassionate” campaign as compatible with the teachings of Jesus. After this, Bob reviews Obama’s record since coming into office. People who voted for Obama are treated with respect and understanding.
Note: The national debt figure shared toward the end of the show refers to how much it has gone up under Obama, but was spoken quickly, making it sound like the total national debt.
