What can be closer to the heart of American culture than Disneyland? Of course, the big attraction to Disneyland this time of year is that they’re all decked out for Christmas Time with a spectacular tree, a fantastic looking castle, and a magical looking Small World. Unfortunately, these last two years, the amount of lights around the rest of the park were probably a third of what they used to be, if even that much. We asked them about it last year. Their response? You’re going to love this: “We’re being environmentally conscious.”
Is nothing sacred? Not even Disneyland? Do they have to suck the joy out of every thing? Do they need to invade every little aspect of our lives with Global Warming concerns even while the world has been cooling the last few years?
What’s next? Do they keep Tinker Bell from flying, because the fairy dust will break down the ozone layer?
