A woman is asked to discontinue her Sunday School class due to her lesbian lifestyle. In response, she defies the idea of separation between church and state and files a lawsuit against the church. With the courtroom as a platform, homosexuality is debated and both sides are well represented. The questions at hand: Why does the Bible call homosexuality a sin? Is homosexuality caused by genetic or psychological influences? What kinds of political factors led to the declassification of homosexuality as a mental disorder back in the year 1973? Do people really view homosexuality as normal or are they obligated to act like they do? People today are receiving pressure from two different camps. Some feel the need to demonize those with homosexual struggles. Others feel compelled to endorse the lifestyle as Politically Correct. This play challenges people to sit down and honestly discuss the volatile issue in a civil manner without all the name calling and stereotyping.
