The Melting Candle

A Jerusalem excavation of the late 20th century discovered a papyri fragment which archaeologists dated at the early first century. Included in this fragment were the Greek words which make up Mark 16:8. However, Mark 16:9-19 was replaced with a different, yet non-contradictory account of the resurrection with one special exception, some mysterious words from the risen Jesus not found in any of the other gospels; “But remember, before the Son of Man returns as a lion, he will come once again as a lamb, that the people might be silenced and put to shame.”
How would Jesus be treated if he walked among us today? Would we recognize him or treat him the way religious Pharisees and Saducees of his own day did? In this fictitious parable, Brian Troy, (rumored to be Jesus Christ) is interviewed by four well known clergymen. THE MELTING CANDLE is a deep and penetrating look into the question of motive and ministry.
