Bob asserts hypocrisy from the California legislature which just passed a law making California a “sanctuary state,” thus thumbing its nose at the federal government, a government which overturned a previous California law (Proposition 8) stating that marriage would be defined as a union between a man and a woman. When the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Prop 8 (voted into law by the people through a ballot measure, not the Sacramento congress), liberal Californian politicians embraced the idea that we need to obey the federal government. Now, they are singing a different tune about the federal government!
A regular listener to the show sends Bob a long written challenge to his observations on this issue which Bob, in turn, replies to.
